About Rob

Robert LeBlanc grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Rob began playing guitar at age 12 and soon discovered music was going to become his life-long passion.  He became obsessed with developing what he believed to be the perfect playing techniques by watching artists such as Al DiMeola, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Morse, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix and Iron Maiden to name a few.  The guitar began to consume him and he would practice for up to six hours a day for many years.  After graduating high school he moved to Los Angeles and attended the  prestigious, world-renowned music school Musicians Institute G.I.T. While there, he would hone skills which have allowed him to become the successful instructor, versatile live/session guitarist and producer he is today.  He has since worked with numerous highly acclaimed artists such as Gloria Gaynor, Ronnie Collins, Wayne Toups, Dusty Darbonne, Mickey Smith, Ken Turner, Christian recording artists Pastor Clint Brown and Ricardo Sanchez.  Robert specializes in the styles of rock, blues, country, jazz and classical music with 25 years of experience.  He is the current lead guitarist for Christian World Ministries in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  He has been the guitar instructor for Night Owl Productions and Lake Charles Music for 20 years.  Subscribe to his Youtube channel at www.youtube.com/guitarteacher777 or follow him on Twitter at cwguitarist.
